How has your January been? If you’re like me it feels like it’s been 28 weeks long, it’s been wet, windy, dark and miserable. But better times are coming, so there are reasons to be cheerful!
I personally never try to diet or ‘be good’ in January. It’s a hard enough month as it is without restricting some of the sweet joys in life. I used to be a WeightWatchers Coach, and January was our bumper month. We’d see streams of people through the door, only for them to all have given up within weeks. In my humble opinion it’s just not the best time to start with a health kick. I personally think Springtime is a good time to start your New Year, New You era, if you really feel you need too.
Anyway, this recipe is for those of you feeling like you should be putting a bit of effort in as we get close to the end of the first month of the year. It’s full of banana, which has natural sweetness so you don’t have to add too much more sugar. The dark chocolate is there as a little extra treat, but it can be missed out if you really don’t fancy it.
