Chocolate Cornflake Cookies
These Chocolate Cornflake Cookies are a little bit extra - they are crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle and have an extra toasty flavour from a covering of cornflakes.
I do love a good cookie recipe, and these have an extra toasty flavour from added cornflakes. You could use this same technique on other cookies to add texture and extra flavour.
As an alternative you could try other cereals such as Rice Krispies or Honey Nut Cornflakes. The possibilities are endless.
As the cookies bake and spread in the oven, the cornflakes will spread with them. This gives the cookies an even distribution of the cornflake crunch.
I loved the look of the cornflakes on these dark chocolate cookies as the colour contrast looked great!
There are Ingredient Notes, and tips of how to successfully coat your cookies in cornflakes after the recipe.
