Custard Cream Cake

This Custard Cream Cake is amazing!! It’s a different take on a cookies and cream cake, which has a slightly yellow colour, and a delicious custardy flavour.

Last week I shared a classic cake flavour - Cookies and Cream. I gave some great options to make it a UK version by using Bourbon Biscuits if you didn’t want the bitter flavour of Oreos. This week, I’m taking it to a whole new British level, by making Cookies and Cream but with Custard Creams.

Custard Creams, for anyone not in the UK, are a staple biscuit barrel flavour. They are sandwich biscuits which have both custard flavour in the biscuit AND in the filing. So pretty perfect for a cake flavour.
